Demand for technology jobs is growing in South Florida, where the technology industry contributes $22.3 billion to the local economy.

This program is a collaboration between Urban League of Palm Beach County and TechLaunch Academy to help provide targeted and relevant IT training.

This program provides a full scholarship to qualified individuals to gain and an industry certification in Microsoft 365 Fundamentals.

The 2-week bootcamp style program will be delivered online.

 

The program covers the following topics and prepares students to sit for the industry recognized MS365F (MS-900T01) certification:

  • Cloud concepts
  • Core Microsoft 365 services and concepts
  • Security, compliance, privacy, and trust in Microsoft 365
  • The benefits of adopting cloud services, the Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud model
  • Implementing Microsoft 365 cloud service

Program Qualifications

  • 18 years or older and authorized to work in the US.
  • Palm Beach and Miami-Dade county residents
  • HS Diploma, equivalent or higher
  • Unemployed or
  • Underemployed – episodic, short term, or part-time.  Not reconnected with a job that is commensurate with equal education, skills, or previous wage or
  • Incumbent worker – Established employment with an employer on a full-time basis.
  • Have a strong interest in technology
  • This program is not available to current TechLaunch Academy students. Graduates who meet the criteria may apply

Participants must agree to:

  • Attend and complete the training program.
  • Sit for a national recognized credential based on completed training.
  • Submit test results and certification after taking the national credential exam.
  • Provide a program success story

Schedule:

5/8-12 Online Live Instructor Led Training: 6:00 PM – 9:45 PM Monday through Friday

5/15-19 Exam Preparation and Testing:
